A Beta Test in the Works at an Iconic Washington, DC Landmark

QRC to Go™ will be beta tested at the Ronald Reagan International Trade Center (RRITC) in Washington, DC—one of the city’s most dynamic mixed-use environments.

We approached the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) and requested this landmark complex as a beta test site for several important reasons:
-
Deep familiarity with the site — We developed the original wayfinding program for the RRITC complex several years ago. Our long-standing relationship and in-depth knowledge of the building’s circulation patterns, visitor experiences, and operational needs makes it an ideal beta testing site.
-
A complex, real-world environment — The RRITC’s mix of public, commercial, and event spaces creates a moderately complicated footprint. This environment will allow us to evaluate how QRC to Go™ performs across a variety of user and destinations.
-
A collaborative partnership — The GSA has been consistently supportive of our work and innovation in branding and wayfinding. Their openness to new ideas makes it possible to bring CQR to Go™ to a real-world test for a portion of the RRITC complex..
QRC to Go™ integrates QR-based digital navigation with existing physical wayfinding program—offering visitors quick, device-based guidance that complements static signage.

QRC to Go™ represents a significant step forward in bridging the gap between existing physical and digital wayfinding, ensuring that visitors to complex facilities can navigate with confidence and ease.
